Famous for the source of the River Nile, Jinja is the
second busiest commercial center in Uganda (after Kampala).
It was established in 1907 in eastern Uganda. It is bordered
by towns such as Njeru, Kimaka, Buwenda, Mpumudde, among
others.
Located on the shores of Lake Victoria, Jinja is also
considered as the capital of the Busoga Kingdom. |
